We are Gini, Anne, and Alex – three mini-campers with a passion. At the end of 2021, sparked by an idea around the campfire, we took it upon ourselves to connect fellow mini-campers and foster mutual inspiration.

Whether it’s a perfect carpentry conversion or a mattress with a sleeping bag, we love the ingenuity of our tiny campers.
Anne and Alex
Who are we? We are Alex and Anne, hailing from Berlin. Since 2020, we’ve been on the road in our Caddy with our daughter. Most of the time, we’re drawn to Scandinavia and camper gatherings. Here, we met the lovely Gini – she’s truly never missing from any gathering 😊 On our Instagram profile @gladdy_box, we share our camping adventures, DIY tips, and make music.
3 Fun Facts: – Sleeping with a child and a dog in the car is like sardines in a can – there’s nothing cozier. – Our first tiny camper was stolen – we thought: let’s do it again and built a much better setup in our new Caddy. – We mainly converted the camper in the living room, kitchen, and on the street – who needs a workshop, right? 😊
Why did we choose a tinycampercar? With a mini camper, life mostly happens outdoors in nature, in all weather conditions – just perfect for us. Plus, finding parking and spots is much easier with a car.
What can’t be missing? Mosquito nets, fairy lights, and pillows.
Favorite camping moment: Opening the rear hatch in the morning, snuggled up in a sleeping bag, enjoying the view and fresh air – ideally with coffee in hand 😉
Gini
Who am I? I’m Gini, and since 2020, I’ve been traveling all over Europe with my little Fiat „Qubo.“ Before that, I traveled across Europe with my family in a VW T4 and later a Pössl Ducato. On our travels, documented on Instagram at @quboaufreisen, we visit almost every camper gathering. I greeted Anne and Alex there directly. Ironically, they didn’t recognize me right away since only the Qubo is visible on Instagram; after all, it reports on our travels. 😊
3 Fun Facts: – I rarely see my three dogs, who occasionally accompany me, at gatherings because most of the time, they contribute to the children’s program. 😂🐕🐕🐕😂 – Borders magically attract Qubo and me; as soon as we reach a national border, we cross it, even if it’s just for a short excursion. 😍 – We go everywhere – from sand to snow, we experience it all.
Why did I choose a tinycampercar? Qubo was already my everyday car, and I had wanted my own small camper for a long time. So it happened that Qubo became a mini camper.
What can’t be missing? That’s complicated because we are always prepared for every situation and have everything on board. After all, we have the space 😂
Favorite camping moment: There isn’t a specific one, as each trip is special in its own way. Whether it’s heading to a gathering, meeting new and old friends privately, or just going on a tour with my dogs.
